I am Finally catching on to knitting! Yay!

For years, I would out right refuse to learn how to knit.  I only recently started to feel the desire to want to learn how to knit. I must say, it is not as intimidating as I thought.  I just needed to relax and have a willingness to learn.

I am participating in the "Who's in your closet?" Mystery crochet along.  I'm so excited! Https://www.thecrochetcrowd.com/closet/ Of course I have no idea what this item will be,  but I can't wait to find out. I also purchased a new crochet bag, which you can see in the picture.  I love this bag! I no longer have to worry about my yarn rolling around while I work.  I can also keep all of my current project items in one place and easily transport them with no hassle. 

Crochet Stitch Sample

I was inspired by this stitch.  I didn't do too bad. Lol I have been feeling lately, like I need to expand my stitch knowledge.  I have a ton of crochet books with awesome stitches in them. If you would like to try this stitch,  it is from the book "The Crochet Stitch Bible" by Betty Barnden. This book is a must have. This was my very first crochet book.
